What better way to celebrate International Women's Day than to release a song about refusing to remain 'an option' - and allowing those influences that have previously caught our undeserved attention to fade out. In this empowering blend of Americana-synth-pop Misha Mandy brings us another well crafted tune, clearly from the same creative mind and production team as 'She Isn't You'. A dreamy acoustic guitar drives the rhythm of the song throughout, with layers of instrumentation and vocals that build in the choruses, creating an arrangement that keeps the listener engaged. Misha's vocals have been really well mixed, with the lead vocal taking just the right amount of prominence while the layers of backing vocals blend together beautifully as a supporting role. Towards the end of the song the vocals take on a life of their own and come in layer after layer, while also fading as suggested by the lyrics. Very clever, and a great listen.
